FIRST PLACE: WHAT WOULD PICASSO SAY?

Using the convention of a play within a play, this farce explores the relationship between art and reality, and teaches us that, although an artist's desire to produce a work of art can be difficult and frustrtating, a true artist will strive to persevere.
SECOND PLACE (tie): JACOB AND MARIE

A Captain of the Guard, Jacob, attempts to civilize a willful Princess, Marie. Over time, their clashes of wit and will develop into friendship and eventually love. Will the Queen bless their union and give them the happy ending they desire?
SECOND PLACE (tie): MEET ME AT THE FAIR

This delightful play chronicles a magical day at the State Fair in 1947. Wishes are granted, taken away, and blown in the breeze for a young girl affecrted with polio, who discovers unexpected strength to go on.
