Upcoming Auditions
Cast
Del Shores’ SORDID LIVES
Show dates: March 5-8 & 15-15, 2026
Audition dates: January 3 from 6pm to 8pm & January 4 from 2pm to 4pm
Director: Courtney Kissee
Audition Information:
Actors will be given two to three cold reading opportunities.
Actors interested in auditioning for Ty will be asked to read a portion of a monologue from the script.
Actors interested in auditioning for Bitsy Mae will be asked to sing a one to two-minute guitar cut of their choosing (guitar provided).
The play is located in Winters, Texas and actors are encouraged to perform their cold cuts with a southern drawl (think warm, sweet, and inviting). We aren't expecting perfection, but please make an attempt! Reference materials for accent examples include Designing Women, Steel Magnolias, and The Andy Griffith Show.
