Classes and Workshops
CEC’s founders believed in the power of education and wanted to create a place where Mid-Missourians could both learn and perform.
Almost 50 years later, we still share that vision!
Current Classes:
Improv Level 1 by 2W Improv
Level 1 introduces students to the fundamental concept of improvisation. Through group exercises and games, students will explore impulse & spontaneity, listening, being present in the moment, taking risks, and other building blocks, all in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re someone who wants to pursue comedy and acting or you just want to get out of your own head; this class helps you build confidence while helping eliminate self-doubt.
This is an 8 week class for two hours each week. The Tuesday sessions will run August 12 through September 30, from 5pm to 7pm. The Wednesday sessions will run August 13 through October 1 from 7pm till 9pm. This class includes an optional 1-hour showcase performance, which will be scheduled once the class begins.
