CEC’s founders believed in the power of education and wanted to create a place where Mid-Missourians could both learn and perform.
Almost 50 years later, we still share that vision!
Current Classes:
Improv Level 1 by 2W Improv
Level 1 introduces students to the fundamental concept of improvisation. Through group exercises and games, students will explore impulse & spontaneity, listening, being present in the moment, taking risks, and other building blocks, all in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re someone who wants to pursue comedy and acting or you just want to get out of your own head; this class helps you build confidence while helping eliminate self-doubt.
This is an 8 week class for two hours each week. The class will run Wednesday, August 13 till Wednesday, October 1 from 7pm till 9pm. This class includes an optional 1-hour showcase performance, which will be scheduled once the class begins.
We are only offering 12 spots in the first session. You have the option to join our waitlist if spots fill up, and we may add additional sessions if enough people join the waitlist!
